Also known as Tibetian cedarwood where it is used in incense, Himalayan cedarwood oil is extracted from the heart wood of the trees and has a sweet, woody, slightly balsamic aroma with a hint of spice. Rose Otto is considered to be 'the queen of essential oils' due to the fact that it takes about thirty roses to make just one drop. Frankincense has been used for over 5,000 years in meditation, religious ceremonies, healthcare, beautification and perfumery. The ancient Egyptians revered it highly and spent fortunes importing the resin for use in, among other things, the renowned scent known as Kyphi, which played an important role as a sacred fragrance in many ceremonies.

A small incision is made in trees grown in Somalia to collect the resin, this is then steam distilled to create the prized essential oil. It helps to reduce anxiety and nervous tension and restores inner tranquility. In skincare it is often used for the drier and more mature skin type.

White Grapefruit has a warm, citrus aroma and the oil is obtained by expression from the peel of the fruit.
